Accuracy of Privacy Guard?

2 posts in this topic

I just signed up for credit monitoring at privacyguard.com.  I was wondering how accurate the credit scores were.  It shows I have a 607EQ, 606TU and 602EFX scores.  When I pulled from  annualcreditreport.com  last fall, my scores were way lower - 560ish.

Not accurate at all.  They are FAKO scores.  They are based on the bank card sucker score.  FICO scores have many scores:  bank card, auto lending, mortgage, and insurance.  If you need to make a big purchase like auto or mortgage you can get your actual FICO scores from myfico.com.

Rather than pay for credit monitoring (waste of money) you can use any of the free sites that do it like Credit Karma.  Manage your debt and your scores will be fine.
