Default Collection Agency SOL Question

Hello- A certain collection agency sent me a settlement offer for a Tmobile account and the last activity on the account was from 2005. I sent them a zombie debt letter and they responded in the mail with a 1 page copy from Tmobile of a statement! on the statement it says the amount is due by 12/2005! That's all they provided and said that this is validation for the above account.

Since this is out of SOL and they completely ignored my letter stating that I would sue them for Zombie debt reporting. Does this mean it's a green light to sue?

This is all new to me so I want to make sure I am doing everything right!

Thanks-

What exactly did you say in your letter?

I am not an attorney. In legal matters, it's best to seek the advice of an attorney. Contact your state bar association. Many state bar associations, if not all of them, offer a Lawyer Referral Services. If you request the name of an attorney in your area, they will provide a name. That attorney will then provide a consultation either free of charge or for a small fee.
