So after working on my credit we started to look at my husbands, which is lower than we thought it would be. Most of the "bills" are in his name and he has never had a problem with credit. Anyway, we are in the process of paying down our debt to get his DTI better, which we are hoping will improve his scores.

One thing we noticed is that there is an account that he is listed as an "Authorized User" for a gas card that his parents put him on back with he lived at home. The account is in good standings and has never had a late payment. My question is, should we try and get that off his CR or just leave it there since it is a positive account? (We are trying to get a house in a few months)

Thanks!
