Courtesy Credit Clear--ACS

I'm a newbie and this is my first post. My husband and I are trying to improve our scores to buy a home within the next year. We both have some late payments showing up (me--2 60 days in 2008 and 1 60 day in 2007, hubby--most recent a 90 day late Feb '11). No bad reports since then. I've been trying to find as much info online about possibly having them removed. These lates were due to birth of second child as well as moving to a different state for a new job. I have found something called a "courtesy credit clear" that can be done. I was wondering if anyone had any clear information. I understand this to be the term that Student Loans use, as opposed to "Goodwill Adjustment". Any information is appreciated!! We have a long road ahead of us!

Never heard of it, but maybe you are talking about a goodwill letter?
