Exclamation Negotiation and settlement discussion

Hi everyone,

I'm involved with a lawsuit in Arizona with Midland Funding LLC. I've posted previously about this case, but a quick rundown is that I received the complaint, I filed an answer, and today I have a hearing scheduled for a negotiation and settlement discussion.

Do I need to prepare for this at all? My thought on the matter right now is that the answer is simply no and I'd like to go to trial. I expect to go to trial and I want to go to trial. So for me, there is absolutely no point to this other than I have to waste half of my day dealing with it.

Is my assumption incorrect? Is there procedure I need to study or documentation I need to prepare and take with me?

Thanks and I appreciate your feedback!

Basically you're going to show up, wait, the judge will send you to the hall to talk and see if you both can resolve it... if not, the judge sets timetable for disclosure.

No docs necessary at this point...but don't sign anything the lawyer might bring.
