Default after my motion to dismiss Midland/DG sent me their admission requests

I havent had a chance yet to go do the research so a question for you dear reader.

first the setup
  • They filed their boilerplate lawsuit
  • I filed a very clear and professional Motion to Dismiss in lieu of answer with the court
  • two days after they get the copy I mailed them they mail off a boilerplate admissions request.

I'm wondering the functional time line on this. Doesnt the court have to decide on the Motion to Dismiss in lieu of answer before they can ask for admissions and consequently my response to their admissions request?

(I plan on filling it out and keeping it on hand just in case I have to get it in to the court pronto)
