I handle a lot of debtor cases and bankruptcies. Please note for revisions to your site that to my regret, the Georgia Court of Appeals came out with a decision on January 24, 2008 in Hill v. American Express that in Georgia the statute of limitations on a credit card is six years after the amount becomes due and payable. I have been using 4 years in my litigation with collection law firms and advising clients. Major setback for people arguing old debt statute of limitations.

I see that the debtor has applied to the Supreme Court for certiorari…what are the chances of it being granted?
I’m not sure – but it would be interesting to see.
