Just received this email – any suggestions on what to do for this lady?
I am being harassed by a judgment creditor from Canada all day and I am in the US . He will not send me anything by US mail to prove I woe him.
He says he brought a default judgment in 2004 and contacted me in 2008. What laws govern someone in the United States that is being harassed by someone in Canada ? I tried the police and they said it is a civil matter. I tried the lawyers and they said because he is trying to ruin my business and says he is the author of several books written on explosives it is a criminal matter.
I can not block his number because it comes in UNKNOWN. My phone company said I can only block private numbers.
He calls and harasses my associates, friends and business partners.
What can I do to stop him?
Please advise me.
