Hello everyone. Just got back from court ordered arbitration. It went surprisingly well. I did have quite a surprise when the attorney for the plaintiff (capital one) entered all my forum entries related to this case off this forum into evidence. Since it is a public forum the judge allowed it.
Just thought I would give people off the forum something to think about when they are writing their posts. Despite my pure ignorance of legal procedure, the judge and the attorney were very nice. I think I was quite lucky considering.

Capital one/Citi bank is the worst bank/card ever!!! I signed up for one of there pre-paid credit cards so i could have my tax re-fund deposited on it. They sent my card, i activated it 3 days before i my refund was expected.then when the irs said my refund was direct deposited i called to check my card & it was no longer a valid car?! So i kept trying but no luck. I finally called the talk to a capital one rep & they told me that for my protection i need to fax a copy of my id, ss card, a recent bill,& prof of address, so until i do that they put a block on my card & sent my IRS check back! Now because of that i am waiting 4-6 weeks for my $6,300 refund to be sent to me in the mail. I don’t understand how they can do this to some one.why even send me the card to begin with.why did they let me activate it & then wait til my $ is there to decide that they need to see my id? Then to top it off don’t even give me a chance to fax anything, they just send the check right back to the IRS! I am losing my house now. Thanks Capital One & Citi bank. You people are the absolute worst bank I’ve ever dealt with.
