Comments on: Cease and Desist Letter w/Collection Agencies – Request only Phone or Letter Contact?

I have about 10 days left to respond to a summons, Capitol One is suing me, by and through their lawyers, I plan to file a motion to vacate judgement, but I don’t know if it is what I will need to do with the response to the summons or is it something that I can do after I respond. I also don’t know if I can still request a validation of the debt during this time. I need some help, if anyone can help answer some of these questions for me please respond soon!

So far, I have not found one single collection agency…not one…that honored or adhered to a Cease and Desist Letter. They simply continue to harass knowing full well you cannot afford to sue them or take them to court.
