I opened my email today and had one with that titillating subject line, amongst a sea of titles such as “How Bad Will it Get” (from the Motley Fool); “CEO’s Message Regarding Recent Market Events” (from miscellaneous financial accounts I hold) and of course the weekly “Your Personal Rental Reminder” from Blockbuster. I didn’t have a second thought about which I’d open first, and in eager anticipation selected the dog biting email desperately hoping for a good laugh (or to learn something truly useful from a cyberspace dog whisperer).
What the heck is going on in the world? I can’t remember a period in (my) lifetime when things seemed so “dire” and every day seems to bring some new catastrophic economic news. It seems our jobs are not safe, our savings in jeopardy, our homes have little value, our food and fuel bills have skyrocketed. I think we’ve answered the question “How did we get here” but more importantly now, when will it end?
I wish I was qualified to speculate but given I’m an ex-engineer turned single mom turned real estate agent, whitewater raft guide, wine consultant, masseuse, and (most importantly) creditinfocenter.com writer, I think I’m going to defer the banter on this one to all those emails from the CEO’s of major financial institutions that grace my inbox daily. It’s just another Monday morning, and while contemplating “what to write about today”, I’m just frustrated….
Oh, I’m sorry, I sort of strayed from the original topic, didn’t I? Why do dogs bite people? The email didn’t explain it at all; it just had a bunch of pictures of dogs dressed in various silly costumes….?
Can we do one on “Why Do Dogs Bite Bank CEO’s?”???
