		<description>We did not know anything about the difference between a student loan and perosnal loan, i co singed for my son that did not finished then when to other school, they send me all this different loan numbers with my name and i call to ask about 16 to 18% interest, they did not negotiated with me, how can pay that kind of interest and how to get down, i thought the government give the $$ to help us, not their agencies.</description>

		<description>Tymika, student loans have no statute of limitations, so they never go away.  On the otherhand, if you&#039;re not working - you&#039;re right, they should not be active.  Have you contacted the department of education about this?  Try them at http://ed.gov.</description>
