Although it may be legal, its certainly unethical, insensitive and inhumane to take advantage of people at a most vulnerable time. If fact, more professionals in the debt recovery industry should make their voices heard, speak out and decry this awful practice. This industry already has a negative public impression as it stands; these kinds of tactics only solidify our negative reputation, and deservedly so.
