Want to make dad proud? Show him you’ve found a way to get something for nothing! In fact, the list we’ve gathered here for readers shows you how to get ten “somethings” for nothing. With economic times as tough as they are for many individuals as well as businesses, finding ways to save a buck is indeed good information to share. So without further ado, here are some deals for dad on his day!!
- TCBY is offering a free cup or cone of frozen yogurt to all dads on Sunday the 21st.
- Johnny Rockets will give your Dad a free shake with the purchase of an entree (print out a coupon in advance though here).
- Aveda is showing its appreciation to fathers with a free sample of Aveda Men Pure-formance Shampoo. You have to go to their website and print off a coupon, then simply take it to a participating Aveda salon/spa to redeem your product.
- Smokey Bones – Get a coupon for a free lunch for dad (with the purchase of another meal).
- If you live in one of the eight states where Texas de Brazil has steakhouses, you can take Dad out for a free dinner, with the purchase of another dinner. You’ll need to print out this coupon, and reservations are recommended.
- Sears is offering $50 in Rewards Cash by mail when you buy $50 worth of pants for dad, a pretty decent deal. Go to the Sears website for details.
- Carrabba’s Italian Grill is offering a free appetizer in exchange for your submission of thoughts about your father. You must write a toast to your dad (which enters you in a contest to win a free trip to Napa Valley for two), and in return and you get a free appetizer on your next visit to Carrabba’s, including Father’s Day. Contest entries are due no later than June 30 – get details here.
- Treat your father to dinner at Outback Steakhouse, and each dad will receive a $10 gift card good for his next visit.
- The Pasta House Company – Each dad will get a free order of spaghetti with meat sauce and a free piece of cheesecake.
- BJ’s restaurants are gifting dads a free commemorative pint glass with any beverage purchased for them on June 20 or 21.
Do you sense a theme here? Most everything has to do with food. What does that say about dad?? At least each dinner did not come with a free television remote. And, likely you won’t even have to prove you are a dad – nudge, nudge, wink wink!
Happy Father’s Day all, and please share any other too-good-to-pass-up offers via a comment!
