I went to jail for 45 days only two months after my final divorce due to not paying judgements over 20k. The state I live in is Al and that was done just over a year ago. I have paid my child support since and as of a few days ago I was served papers again for the unpaid judgements that I do not have. What can I do if anything? Keep in mind I have no money for a lawyer…

What about the case where SWAT was sent in to get a woman for her student loans. she did not live there but they broke the door down and handcuffed the estranged husband and put the kids in a police car and questioned him for over 6 hrs. Apparently, they were going to do something to her. But that was not explained in the article since she did not live there and they did not find her.

they say I have a back rent debt from 13 years ago. Was told if I did not show up in small claims court I would go to jail up to 90 days.
Can I go to to jail over this debt that is $851.19. That is with they say late fees. Fort Wayne in.

I am owed monies and it has been in a small claim courts and iI have won the judgement and she pays 1 month and stops,I have sent her letters from the Sheriffs Department and she send another payment and then none,she claimes now she is not working she has cancer,breast and colon cancer ..what should I do when she does tell me in a e-mail she will pay when she goes back to work the end od March and still no monies..HELP.
