Great information! Thanks so much for posting this blog and website. I have been in a vicious circle of bad credit for years secondary to medical bills and student loans. The credit agencies have been quite rude and reluctant to help erase some of the negative info. Thanks for offering tools, tips and letters so that this process is not so overwhelming. I feel reinvigorated and not so powerless just because my credit has been less than stellar. I will keep you posted on my future success!

I just made a dispute with the credit agencies in November. All of my RRRs came back and there has been no response in the 30 days, so I will wait the full 60 days and then send them my verify and remove letter, but that is NOT why I am sending this comment.

I got something more interesting to share. I sent these letters out on November 18. One letter was recieved on Nov 22, one on Nov. 24 and One on Nov 25...

All is cool, except that you can not read the date with was received by one of the agencies... probably that one that is the most dominent. It looks like it was received on Nov 30, but because they positioned the stamp so precisely, it is hard to make out, even with a magnifying glass.

So I went to USPS.com and did a check, and it was delivered to them the day before Thanksgiving on Nov 25.. and this stamp as bad as it is does not resemble that date....

So double check on line the dates of delivery because it is possible that they post date acceptance in order to give themselves a few more days, and who is looking...... ??? well MOI is!

I have copied the USPS site deliver confirmation, and when I send my letter to them, not only will I sent their blurred slip. I will send the USPS confirmation.... and nothing was ever received.. I did not pay for a report.. and now I am going to play hard ball and hopefully all will come off.

I just want to let you know that you need to double check dates as the reporting agencies may not be stamping the RRRs correctly!
