  1. No one has proven that pulling your credit report on Truecredit is the true reason inquiries have fallen off a CR. NO ONE. I have heard alot of ridiculous theories and ideas but nothing backed up with anything resembling verifiable facts. It is pure speculation and guessing that this is the cause. You see an effect and you assume you know the cause. Fact is you don't. The preposterous idea that there is no longer any room on a persons Cr is really ridiculous. But You claim it doesn't work for Experian only TU and EQ. Well I guess Experian has found some room right? It is like a person saying ..."Well, I have been viewing my TrueCredit file every day for the past four months and after four months I saw a few inquiries fall off my credit report....so that must be the reason they fell off. sounds like a Credit Repair URBAN LEGEND in the making to me....

  2. I am dead serious! It is an odd profession, but quite a satisfying one! I kind of fell into 11 years ago....it was a hobby that went out of control and my husband said I couldnt buy anymore supplies unless I started selling! So it is his fault. First it took over the basement, then the whole house! Finally he said he was tired of eating it and to start looking for a storefront. It took me about year but my shop/workshop is less than 8 blocks from home. My girls can bike or walk there without crossing any major streets! Now I spend 8-10 hours a day at the shop trying to keep up my stock for the store and my wholesale accounts! I started doing these boards to keep up on my skills so if I have to go back to the FA field, I will be up on all the regs! Funny thing is, my old officemate IM's me all the time for updates...I usually know things before her! (Funny how the important updates get lost on the Director of FA's desk!)

  3. There is no reason you can't do this yourself, but having a lawyer would make it much easier. Have you sent copies of the the ID theft affidavit and report to the CA, to Mann-Bracken? Simply calling them on the phone won't cut it. They'll continue to report, claiming there is no independent evidence to support your claim. Send them the proof, then if they still don't remove the data - go see an attorney.
