  1. I recently sent in a validation letter to Calvary portfolio associates several weeks ago, and noticed today on Credit Karma that the collections account was removed entirely from my Equifax report. However, it is still open on my Transunion report with the comment "Account information disputed by consumer, meets FCRA requirements". What does this mean exactly? Will it likely be removed as well? The other collection on my account is with Portfolio Recovery Associates. I called them about a month ago, and they said to contact a lawyer in my state since the account had been turned over to them.
  2. Also, I live in NC. From what I understand their options are a bit more limited in my state. So maybe that will help my chances?
