  1. So by winning, I mean ended up paying a 1/4 of what I owed in settlement, however, I haven't signed the document yet. Is there any specific wording in the agreement I should be asking for that would help my overall credit score when setttled? They stated they would stop reported the debt, etc but is there anything that I can ask for that I should be? They did file in court in PA and the judge dismissed it due to the arbitration clause. Thank you.
  2. Thanks. I filed the MTC yesterday and was accepted into the courts. Hoping it works.
  3. I just submitted the Motion to Compel Private Arbitration. See what happens next I guess.
  4. I just filed an answer and didn't even get to the MTC. Should I file an MTC now and state that I seek private contractual arbitration through AAA?

  6. So what does that mean for next steps? I'm assuming that isn't in my favor?
  7. To be honest I wasn't expecting this, but then again I'm not sure what it really means. I just got this in the mail from the local court house. I cut off the top, but it has the case information above the information. So what do I do now and what can I expect next?

  9. Thank you. I figured maybe someone would possibly know. I'll have to call the office and see what option I need to choose to submit the file. Only two options to submit a "motion" and neither look right to me.
  10. So everything in my area is being eFiled and trying to figure out how to eFile a motion to compel. Can anyone help me? The list of options are a bit confusing. There are only two options to eFile something with Motion in them, but they both state they are responses and one mentions a (COPY). I'm assuming I don't file it as a simple answer, do I?
  11. The agreement states they use AAA. My next question is that when I file an MTC what does the cover letter look like? I've found examples of the MTC but can't fine the cover letter. I'm assuming it's basically the first page of the court docket?
  12. When filing an MTC, do I need a cover letter? And if so, what exactly needs to go on it? Thank you in advance. I also plan to send copy of my agreement arbitration rules.
  13. Also, do I look to file an MTC as Citi has an arbitration clause? If so, can anyone point me in the right direction of an example that would guide me for the state of PA? One other note, is that in the summons that I was given the only documentation provided was a basic card agreement which doesn't have my signature or anything relating to me on it. There is indeed an arbitration clause in it. Hope this information may help as I don't know if I should file an MTC right away or wait?
  14. Court of Common Pleas. And as mentioned it is Cavalry SPV as their assignee. Thank you in advance for any help or direction you can provide. I want to ensure I get ahead of anything I possibly can.
  15. So i was served papers on Friday stating that I'm being sued by Cavalry by Apothaker PC. I have filed my response today denying allegations and also requesting proof of all account debt is mine, etc. In reading through much of this forum, I'm confused at what I do next. Do I wait to see what they do in response? I want to be as proactive as possible and ensure I provide all information as quick and as best as possible. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. This is in regards to a alleged Citibank debt
