  1. I sold and payed off my Mortgage in 2016. I did have a " Deferred Amount" to also pay off due to some financial difficulties many years back. My question is this considered interest?
  2. Have and older Citi card account that was charged off in 2010. Got the collection letter from Northland Group this past july. I sent them a Dv letter and they responded by sending some very old statements from 2007 and 2008. Also a “Bill of Sale Assignment” from Citi bank. My question on this letter is that no where on it does it reference any of my information?? My name, DOB, account number with Citi.. should I ask them to provide this on this “Bill of Sale Assignment” due to the fact it has no information about me on it???
  3. I live in Michigan SOL 7 years I'm guessing Aug 2008. due to the statement of Date of first Delinquency 08/2008 on the report
  4. This just showed up on my Equifax account... I believe it is for an older Citi Credit Card that the SOL will be up in Aug of this year. On the report it has this information Security Credit Services Date opened 12/2/2013 Date reported 01/16/14 Date of First Major Delinquency Date of first Delinquency 08/2008 I have never received any letters or communication from them?? Not sure where to start???
  5. I had the same problem on an account that was charged off. I sent TU a copy of their report showing the listings two times. They sent the new report showing the account one time and a statement the account was deleted. I waited 30 days and got a new report and sent in the statement about the account being deleted Needless to say I was real happy when they responded by deleting the 2nd of the two!!

  11. I need a little help understanding this part of 623(7)?? Please explain the last part on "COORDINATION WITH NEW ACCOUNT DISCLOSURES" at the end of this post?? (7) NEGATIVE INFORMATION- (A) NOTICE TO CONSUMER REQUIRED- (i) IN GENERAL- If any financial institution that extends credit and regularly and in the ordinary course of business furnishes information to a consumer reporting agency described in section 603(p) furnishes negative information to such an agency regarding credit extended to a customer, the financial institution shall provide a notice of such furnishing of negative information, in writing, to the customer. (ii) NOTICE EFFECTIVE FOR SUBSEQUENT SUBMISSIONS- After providing such notice, the financial institution may submit additional negative information to a consumer reporting agency described in section 603(p) with respect to the same transaction, extension of credit, account, or customer without providing additional notice to the customer. ( TIME OF NOTICE- (i) IN GENERAL- The notice required under subparagraph (A) shall be provided to the customer prior to, or no later than 30 days after, furnishing the negative information to a consumer reporting agency described in section 603(p). (ii) COORDINATION WITH NEW ACCOUNT DISCLOSURES- If the notice is provided to the customer prior to furnishing the negative information to a consumer reporting agency, the notice may not be included in the initial disclosures provided under section 127(a) of the Truth in Lending Act
  12. On my Experian report I have a charge off from Spiegel (CPC). Ex has it listed 2 times. The main difference is that one lists the charge off and the 2nd does not. Also under account history the number of days late are totally different from one another??? The contact address from spiegel is the same on both.. Is this normal??
  13. I like the way they also have a weekend day or a holiday as the due date> my next payment is due on 07/04/2008 if i go to pay it on the 3rd it would not apply until the 7th
  14. I have a joint checking account with my son. I ended up on chexSystem with a different bank. My son is not on that account. They told my son verbally and in a letter they were closing our account due to me being in Chexsystem and the name of the other bank involved and the situation with with that bank.. Are they allowed to give that information out about me to a different person?
