  1. Thank your for deciphering, Yes you're absoulutly right. I went & saw an attorney in-which he thinks "it's good that it is not being reported to the credit bureus", (only experian which shows: revolving, $0 bala, current). He wants to contact BofA to inquire as to why I'm I being involved since the CC was transfered to my brothers business. The attorney wants to reqeust what legal (BofA) documents did my brother sent them that was requested by BofA Corportate Department proior to swiching the card. Also if there are any forged signatures or fales information provided to them about my self & the possibility of linking me to his business. As one banker told me any bank can not transffer a business cc to another business cc with the original owner being involved in that business. I'm not sure whether to have him persue this issue as it might trigger BofA to make me involved some how.
  2. I had a Corporate CC, which was linked to my brother's business (so CC read my name & the card also read my brother's business name). Also it was being reported by the credit bureau's under my name & not sure if it was being reported under his SS#, but he had the same card as well. After my brother paid the complete balance off, I used the card for about 6 months. Later my other brother requested the credit card we transferred/transposed it to his business (which is unrelated to me & my older brother, so I thought, since "supposedly" it was transposed. In order to make the transfer to the new business and a new "Guarantor", B of A requested that my brother submits a copy of his Professional license, Business license & Tax ID# along with B of A form (not sure what that form was) before the transfer couldn't happened. Fast forward three years, my brother who had the card transferred to his business defaulted on the card. My brother is now ignoring both B of A and my calls to pay the account. B of A is now calling me to pay the defaulted credit card. I checked my credit reports all 3, B of A is not reporting the delinquent account. On my Equifax report it is reported as " Revolving $ 0 Balance & in good standing (could be from when my other brother & I owned the acct.). A friend who is a banker called B of A's fraud dept. to inquire about the procedure of transfer a credit card from one business to another. He said a transfer can't be done if the original person is not part of the new business, & the business owner must be the Guarantor, the fraud department agreed. Another thing is that the fraud department at B of A couldn't pull-up anything under my SS# nor under my name. At different times when calling the customer service dept. regarding the account, no information could be found using my SS # or my name. Info. could be located only if I gave them my brothers business address & his name in-order for them to located the card. Couple of weeks after my banker friend & I called B of A, I received a "REQUEST TO ADD/SUBSTITUTE OWNER/AUTHORIZED OFFICER" form which on one side the form is titled: "NEW OWNER/AUTHORIZED OFFICER (GUARANTOR)" & on second page it's titled: "EXISTING OWNER/AUTHORIZED OFFICER (GUARANTOR). My brother must have signed these form in-order for the switch to happen, I remember B of A calling few times regarding these documents to be filled & faxed to their corporate office. I've told B of A that the Account (WITH NEW CARD #s ISSUED, 1 card with his name & his business & another with my name & his business's name) was switched (transferred/transposed) to his business & under his name. They're not that responsive to me regarding this issue, nor they've provided me with the faxed documents by my brother. Since the switch happened, I've stopped getting any statements. when I requested them, it SHOWED ONLY MY BROTHER'S NAME & HIS BUSINESS. What should I do? Should I ignore the letter and request to add guarantor. Should I be looking for an attorney?
  3. I had a Bank of America Corporate C.C. which was linked to my brothers business which was paid in full @ one point. Later I used the C.C. to charge some $$ on it for about 6 months. Later my other brother comes along & wanted to transfer it to his business name. B of A requested that my brother to send them a form filled and signed with his Professional license copy, Business license copy & Tax I.D. # in order for B of A to switch the C.C. or (? add his business or his name as the main "Guarantor"), as I don't see B of A's reporting it on any of the Credit Bureaus, other than Equifax which say Revolving $ 0 Balance & in good standing. Since then my brother paid some of the charges off (as he maxed the CC), thus later he Stopped paying. B of A since the transfer occurred to my second brother, they have not reported the CC to the Credit bureau since I think it was transferred to my second brother, except for Equifax which showed Revolving but $ 0 balance & In Good Standing. B of A tried to get my brother to settle with them but of course he keeps on ignoring them & ignoring me. B of A told me we'll send you a "REQUEST TO ADD/SUBSTITUTE OWNER/AUTHORIZED OFFICER" form which on one side the form it's titled: "NEW OWNER/AUTHORIZED OFFICER (GUARANTOR)" & on second page it's titled: "EXISTING OWNER/AUTHORIZED OFFICER (GUARANTOR). I've told them that the Account was switched to my brothers business & under his name; since the switch happened I've never gotten any statements to my address. A banker (from a different bank) has called the fraud dept. at B of A & wanted to inquire about the procedure regarding TRANSPOSING A CC FROM SOMEONE TO SOMEONE ELSES BUSINESS, WHICH HE SAY'S IT CAN'T BE DONE IF THE ORIGINAL PERSON IS NOT PART OF THAT BUSINESS, IN ANY WAY, and SHAPE. IF THE C.C. WAS TRANSPOSED TO SOMEONE ELSES BUSINESS NAME, THEY WOULD HAVE TO BE THE MAIN GUARANTOR". The fraud dept. at B of A agreed. When I used contact B of A regarding any inquiries, they couldn’t have pulled my S.S. # nor under my name, I had to give them my sisters business name and/or address in-order them to pull the card up. The something happened with the fraud dept. when we (I & the banker that was helping me out with this issue) contacted them. Recently they've sent me the above referenced (with 2 sides) letter which I've ignored, as the banker told me they're trying to have you admit or to implicate you or to hold you responsible as well. As the more people involved, as being the main Guarantors the better chance for B of A collecting. WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT? 1) SHOULD I IGNOR THE LETTER ? 2) SHOULD I SECK AN ATTORNEY THAT DEALS WITH SUCH ISSUES ? Thank You, Your Input would be Very Appreciative
  4. CEO e-mail addresses - CEO email address - chief executive officer - managing director - UK - USA - US - America - EU - Asia good luck
  5. In the Oasis Program you must settle in full your debt to american express. They will issue a new card with the same credit limit as the one you had before. I believe you cant get a credit line increase on that card. The new card has its own start day which will be the new date of the card. The old account which you paid off will be listed as paid as agreed. It will show the long history but that account will be closed. THE NEW CARD WILL NOT HAVE THE OLD OPEN DATE. you will have the history as in overall age of credit.
  6. Rocco_Abessinio@appliedcardbank.com I hope this helps. I used this email and he was very helpful. I don't know if he is still the CEO as I did this about 3 years ago. Good luck.

  8. Amortgageman thanks for your response. The problem is they, NSP, were working with us to do the repairs on the house. Now they are trying to buy the same house the one we bid on. Also the seller was aware that we were ready to close it was the NSP program that needed the changes in closing date. Anyway I will try that link. Thank you.
  9. Hello everyone, I need some advise my fiance and I have been working with an NSP program in Michigan to purchase a foreclosed home. We decided to work with them because the home needed some repairs. Long story short they approved him for the program and told him to find and house get a mortgage and they would basically take care of the rest. well its been more than 3 months and it has just been one roadblock after another. Everyone associated the the program kept telling him to just hang in there and it will work out. well we have had to ask for extensions on the closing date 2 times and the 3 time it was denied. the problem is they, NSP, was very very slow at submitting information to the banks. and it turns out that the NSP program never intended to assist us with the transaction/purchase. When my fiance went to see them a few days ago they informed him that they were planing to buy the house themselves. This is the said house that we place a bid on and won and was in contract with fannie mae. While we were in contract with fannie mae they were behind the scenes brokering their own deal to purchase the house ( nsp program administrators told him they plan to make the house we put a bid on their flagship house. So the last extension was denied but who can blame fannie mae?? We changed banks so that we can do the 203k FHA loan program to repair the house but now we have to redo the entire process to get get the house again without the NSP program. Now we have to start over. This can't be legal. any advise would be appreciated. We will be resubmitting a bid this week. But I do believe that the NSP program should not be allowed to get away with this.

    i got screwed

As everyone pointed out it is highly unlikely that one collection did that much damage to your score. It is however possible that they are reporting the same collection more than once. With that said, if I were you, I would be sending a letter off to the CEO of the company. It is very likely that you will get it sorted. Search on here for some goodwill letter and explain your case. If what you say is correct, the matter should be easily resolved. Do you still have service with them? you can try this email address Charter Communications Neil Smit, CEO neil.smit@chartercom.com
