  4. Thanks Guys...ya might be right. Oh and did I mention no contact about the car yet.... or the fact that I have to work 4 days this weekend, F, S, S and M....48 hours. And we need to get our house finished. 1000.00 in electric bills this month between the shop and the house. I could go on and on, but you would just fall asleep.
  5. Anyone else? I work 80 hours a week...at the shop and at my other job.... It seems I never catch a break, I come home everynight and have to cook and clean...Hubby works 4 hours a day and he does not even take his plate off the table. I always have laundry and dishes to do and I usually hit the bed past midnight, and get up at 4 am for my other job fri, sat and sunday, I work 6 am to 6pm. When I'm at the shop it's usually 9 am to 7 or 8 at night... I just needed to vent a bit.
  6. Ok I guess I will chime in on this.... One of the most important factors in your score is a variety of credit... I would suggest something like Crown Jewelers, do a search for them... Student loans are funny and having other credit besides Govt. issued credit... especially when inquiries count... So go slow and pick and choose for now, wait a couple of months till the new credit reports to the bureaus....then apply for something else...Thats how I did it...build and get gradually higher limits...

  22. http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20090113/od_afp/lifestyleaustraliatourismoffbeat_20090113032028 SYDNEY (AFP) – An Australian state is offering internationally what it calls "the best job in the world" -- earning a top salary for lazing around a beautiful tropical island for six months. The job pays 150,000 Australian dollars (105,000 US dollars) and includes free airfares from the winner's home country to Hamilton Island on the Great Barrier Reef, Queensland's state government announced on Tuesday. In return, the "island caretaker" will be expected to stroll the white sands, snorkel the reef, take care of "a few minor tasks" -- and report to a global audience via weekly blogs, photo diaries and video updates. The successful applicant, who will stay rent-free in a three-bedroom beach home complete with plunge pool and golf buggy, must be a good swimmer, excellent communicator and be able to speak and write English. "They'll also have to talk to media from time to time about what they're doing so they can't be too shy and they'll have to love the sea, the sun, the outdoors," said acting state Premier Paul Lucas. "The fact that they will be paid to explore the islands of the Great Barrier Reef, swim, snorkel and generally live the Queensland lifestyle makes this undoubtedly the best job in the world." Lucas said the campaign was part of a drive to protect the state's 18 billion Australian dollar a year tourism industry during the tough economic climate caused by the global financial meltdown. "Traditional tourism advertising just doesn't cut it sometimes and we are thinking outside the box by launching this campaign." Queensland Tourism Minister Desley Boyle said some people might question whether it was risky to let an unknown person become an unofficial tourism spokesperson for the state. "I think the biggest risk will be that the successful candidate won't want to go home at the end of the six months," she said. "This is a legitimate job which is open to anyone and everyone." Applications are open until February 22. Eleven shortlisted candidates will be flown to Hamilton Island in early May for the final selection process and the six month contract will commence on July 1.
  23. I'm looking to replace the caddy I totaled a few weeks ago... Heres what I'm considering: This 1998 BMW 528i has less than 148,900 miles. Jet Black Exterior with Black Leather Interior. 190hp 2.8L Inline 6 Cylinder Engine and 4-Speed Automatic Transmission with Overdrive. 5994.00 listed price second thought: 2002 Jaguar X-Type 3.0 AWD has less than 75,900 miles. Platinum Silver Metallic Exterior with Charcoal Leather Interior. 231hp 3.0L V6 Engine and 5-Speed Automatic Transmission with Overdrive. Full Time "Traction4" AWD System with Permanently Locked Hubs. 9900.00 Ok lets be reasonable, I need to have a all steel car...I live in the country and often travel dirt roads... I will have about 3000.00 to put on it...I don't want to finance it if I can help it...But I would like a nice car.
