  1. Last week was my birthday and I didn't feel very well waking up on that morning. I went downstairs for breakfast hoping my wife would be pleasant and say, 'Happy Birthday!', and possibly have a small present for me. As it turned out, she barely said good morning, let alone ' Happy Birthday.' I thought... Well, that's marriage for you, but the kids...they will remember. My kids came bounding down stairs to breakfast and didn't say a word. So when I left for the office, I felt pretty low and somewhat despondent. As I walked into my office, my secretary Jane said, 'Good Morning Boss, and
  2. A man went to the hospital to have his wedding ring cut off from his hoohoo. According to the Nurse attending, the patient's girl friend found the ring in his pants pocket and she got so mad at him, she used petroleum Jelly to slip the ring on his hoohoo while he was asleep. What's worse: 1) Having your girl friend find out you're married. 2) Explaining to your wife how your wedding ring got on your hoohoo. 3) Or finding out your hoohoo fits through your wedding ring.
  3. I am losing, but it's a slow process and I know that it's better to lose the weight over time rather than the quickie diets. I've been on the plan for two weeks so far and have lost 4 pounds. I did the LA Weight Loss diet before and lost weight much quicker, but not so fast that I felt it unsafe. This works too.
  4. I like the show alot, so I don't mind if they drag it out.
  5. Anybody watch Bones on Fox Monday nights?
  6. re #9, I didn't want to offend anyone or get banned from the board.
  7. I read a post here yesterday where someone posted that the DV process can be dangerous, I believe, if the SOL is almost up...or something like that. Can someone explain? Does that mean the SOL is your state? The 7-7 1/2 year reporting period? I have DV'd several CAs recently and after I read that post it scared me alittle.
  8. ... told them not to communicate with me by phone. Guess who called me this morning?
  9. The Clash: rock the gas pump....rock the gas pump! instead of rock the casbah...rock the casbah!
  10. BeeGees: Baldheaded woman instead of More than a woman LOL!
  11. maybe she wants him to worship the devil?
  12. 1. 'Take it easy, Doc. You're boldly going where no man has gone before! 2. 'Can you hear me NOW?' 3. 'Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there 4 'Any sign of the trapped miners?' 5. 'You put your left hand in, you take your left hand out.' 6. 'Hey! Now I know how a Muppet feels!' 7. 'Hey Doc, let me know if you find my dignity.' 8. 'You used to be an executive at Enron, didn't you?' 9. 10. 'Could you write a note for my wife saying that my head is not up there?'
  13. Am I overlooking something obvious? I'm embarrased to say what I think the meaning is....tell you later on. Lyrics: daryl hall, john oates, sara allen Music: daryl hall Easy ready willing overtime When does it stop, where do you dare me to draw the line You got the body now you want my soul Don't even think about it say no go Now i'll do anything you want me to I'll do almost anything that you want me to But i can't go for that No can do I can't go for being twice as nice I can't go for just repeating the some old lines Use the body now you want my soul Oo forget about it say no go Yeah i'l
  14. I did not...but the list of things they asked for was just that...a list...i.e.,..."please send us the following", and then a long list of stuff.
  15. Thanks guys. I'm not sending them anything. I like their nerve!
  16. Ok...Cavalry wrote to me acknowledging that they received my letter of dispute, but now they are asking me for copies of my driver's license, a police report, and several other items that will prove to them that I am me! As far as I know, I am under no obligation to prove anything to them. What should I do?
  17. Thanks! I'll let him know...that is...if I can't persuade him to move to PA.
  18. I'm willing...but he's not. We have some time so I'm gonna stay optimistic...maybe after he spends more time here this summer he will change his mind. Taxes in NJ are through the roof...would rather move to another location in PA, but with our incomes combined, we could do Jersey. He's not used to the city life...so New Jersey would probably be more comfortable for him. It's also ideal for his lawn care business. He wants to move to Dallas.
  19. So...my possible soon to be intended and I are exploring nice places to live. I love the east coast. He's from MI and desperately wants to leave. I suggested New Jersey...for no other reasons than it's close for me, I can keep my job, there are some nice neighboorhoods, and I just flat out don't want to leave where I am. But, all of a sudden he's not on board with moving this way. I asked him why not New Jersey and his response was.............LOL........................ New Jersey is one of the original 13 colonies. There are just dirty old buildings there. LOL!
  20. I doubt he's as big and bad as he appears on tv...it's all for show. But, if his bite is as big as his bark, I would gladly quiet him.

  23. Chef Gordon Ramsey. Anyone watch Hell's Kitchen?
  24. pierss08, I had a problem understanding this as well. Here's what you need to understand in a hypothetical situation. Let's say my credit card went bad and American Express (yeah...I wish) reported in January of 2008. That means that this negative item will be reported on my credit report 7 1/2 from when American Express reported it. The above has NOTHING to do with the SOL, which is the amount of time the creditor can sue you and collection. The SOL is based on your state.
