  1. MMMMMMmmmm Toast... French toast with the little sprinkles of powdered sugar... IHOP here I come.
  2. A Short Love Story A man and a woman who had never met before, but were both married to other people, found themselves assigned to the same sleeping room on a trans-continental train. Though initially embarrassed and uneasy over sharing a room, they were both very tired and fell asleep quickly..... He in the upper bunk and she in the lower. At 1:00 AM, the man leaned down and gently woke the woman saying, 'Ma'am, I'm sorry to bother you, but would you be willing to reach into the closet to get me a second blanket? I'm awfully cold.' I have a better idea,' she replied . 'Just for tonight, let's
  3. Gah! make it stop pleeaaasse! someone shoot me!
  4. Gotta love Tears For Fears, Thanks, Ive now replaced the freecreditreport.com jingle that was rattling around in my head with this song. much more pleasant.
  5. Is it me or are the freecreditreport.com commercials getting reeeeallly annoying. There's an underlying tone of "If your credit is bad you will be laughed at by hot girls or doomed to work in a fish restaurant". It's reached the point where I just want to reach through the tv and pimp slap the jacka** that sings the jingle. And the song gets stuck in my head for hours.... Maybe I just need to take my meds or something...
  6. Yeah, he really tried to make me look bad to the ACA and BBB. I think it backfired on him. I am still waiting for his response to my rebuttal. I'm not going to lift the complaints until he responds.I can almost guarantee that he will say something like "We never got it". I'm not quite sure of the process that the ACA uses to handle these things, I think they sent me an email stating that I had to tell them if the CA did or didn't respond to my complaint within 30 days or they will drop the complaint. Anyone familiar with their process?
  7. I just checked TC today and it is gone from all three reports! I will wait for his reply to my BBB response and then, dependiing on what he says, I will withdraw all complaints. 2 more baddies to go!
  8. Yes it was pure luck. I sent investigations requests to the CRA's multiple times disputing a single data field at a time and eventually (3rd or 4th round) they were deleted. I didn't send anything to Crap1 because at that time, I didn't know that you could do that (pre CIC). I honestly think that the CRA's just got sick of me and suppressed. as of this moment, Crap1 is only on TU and I'm not messing with them any more b/c the SOL is coming up. once I'm past the SOL I will open up on them with more disputes.
  9. Yes that was their response to the BBB. I sent my response back to them via the BBB last night. It's funny, they have withdrawn the entry on two of the three CR's... the two that they confirmed during the validation period. They are trying to hide their mistakes hoping that i don't have hard copies. Hopefully, my response will let them know that I am prepared. That response came from the VP of the company. I am surprised at the level of attention that they are paying to a $285 collection. Risking ACA problems, Texas legal problems, and a decent sized lawsuit for $285 bucks just doesn't make se
  10. Truthfully, I am expecting a good chunk of money in the near future and plan on settling with them. I don't think that they will sue because on paper, I have zero assets, no w2 income, and am kinda hard to find. To sue someone is one thing, but to collect on that judgement is another altogether. What hope do they have of recovering money if the person they sue has nothing, and does nothing (In their own name)? This is the first thing that attorneys look for when considering a new case.
  11. I have managed to knock Crap 1 off of 2 of my reports on an account which is still inside SOL. It can be done though it wasn't easy. I stand corrected on the lawsuit comment, you are correct. Be sure to answer and show up for any lawsuit filed against you.
  12. If you are positive that the SOL has passed, they cannot sue to collect. There is nothing to be scared of. I would say dispute it with the CRA's until it falls off the reports. The more specific the dispute, the better the odds are that it will fall off. I.E. dispute one data field at a time. There is no need to send anything to the OC, but you definitely want to keep DVing any collector that gets the account. Gotta play Whack a mole with them and keep beating them back into their holes!
  13. Here is my response. I haven't sent it yet, I would like feedback from everyone before I send it. Thanks yall. Oh man, now I am starting to sound like a Texan.... Thank you for your response to my complaint. This response is unacceptable to me for the following reasons: In my initial debt validation request, I asked for several items which have not been supplied by Bonneville. Those items were:  Explain what the money you say I owe is for;  Explain and show me how you calculated what you say I owe; *  Provide me with copies of any papers that show I agreed to pay what you say I owe;  Pr
  14. This is the response from Bonneville collections on my BBB complaint about them insisting on collecting in Texas while they do not hold the required bond. Dear Mr. Tonypilot7, Upon receipt of your validation request we asked for and forwarded validation to you on March 27, 2008. (A one page computer generated statement)This account was flagged for credit reporting purposes as "disputed" at that time (the account doesn't show as flagged on my reports). We have now received your Better Business Bureau complaint and ACA Ethics complaint. The above account was incurred in ****, Oregon and assigne
