  1. False I do not have an account. I was informed over thanksgiving that you can get the movies "streamed" in through your pc instead of using the mail. TNP has all of x-mas shopping done.
  2. I meant a diagram for the legal process. The debt validation workflow stops at "sue them" and "your'e done"
  3. PsychoTim - apology for the highjack. trueq -Thank you for your reply you are amazing with the knowledge that you have. I agree with others that have said you should go get law degree. It might not be as fun though if it's a "job":). I wish I could say I am going to tackle these on my own but with all of the reading I am at times more confused then when I started. Then again with the snow/winter coming I have nothing but time to learn, stay inside and stay warm, after of course the snowman is built, requirement after every good snow:mrgreen: It would be great for me, possibly others, if there was a diagram to go by. Like the "Debt Vaildation Workflow" When reading paragraphs of motion this and compel that and alot of legalese I get confused. (Driving I'm a landmark person also)
  4. Do I have two years to file this suit? or is there a sol on filing one. I paid one 5/08 the other beginning of this year. The one I paid this year is definitely SOL it' s from 05. They even stated that on the letter they sent me. I hadn't found this site yet and was focused on getting as many things removed as possible in order to try and buy a house. At that time I thought paying settled everything. Had no clue of PFD. Can a novice like myself handle this or should I just seek counsel and split the deal. Any recommendations for IA ?
  5. I had the same thing happen when I moved. I just called the electric/gas company and worked it out with them. If that is the only bad thing on your CR, I am guessing that you are in that "catch22". No one will give you credit because you don't have a credit history and you can't get a credit history unless someone gives you credit. Secured credit should help you get started. Keep reading all of the great info in this forum, it helps and will make it easy. good luck
  6. Before finding this site I thought the same thing, pay them and you're done. I found out the hardway they(the CA's) take your money and then sell it to someone else. I paid twice, on one phone bill to two different CA's. I found all of the paper work after I found this forum and I was so mad at myself. I couldn't believe something like this was legal. Lesson learned. I have gained a world of knowledge from the people here. That this happens all of the time and unless you stand up and fight they will continue to harass you for money they most likely are not entitled too.
  7. I have 4 under the age of 12 , so needless to say we are regular watchers.. I could keep singing the song, although I have to hum most of the parts of what comes next. I catch up at the end of each sentence. (giving a monkey a shower, locating frankensteins brain etc.) As soon as the kids hear the show start the house breaks into song. They of course know all of the words My kids and I talked the other day about some of the great cartoons that used to be on and aren't anymore. Spongebob is great and all but a variety is needed. I think spongebob could hang out in the scooby doo slot for awhile and bring back: the wild thornberry's , catscratch, catdog, heyarnold, etc... I know there are times that spongebob or Icarly is on and if I've seen the episode 3 or more times I don't even want to guess how many times they (kids) have seen it:shock: another one that has got mine's attention is Brain Drain, it's a puzzle game show.
  8. "There's 104 days to summer vacation and school comes along just to end it..and the annual problem of our generation is finding a good way to spend it. Like maybe....." need I say more It is a great show!!
  9. Apologies for screwing up a great thread. I was trying to quote musimann's "insert your state or the state in which the contract was signed" I need to know which one because there is a big difference in the amount of years. I will now go "search" on how to properly use the quote boxes.
  10. I agree with you Admin... I am constantly bombarded with the question " why didn't you answer your phone"? Half the time it's in the car (the whole reason I got one in the first place... in case I broke down) the other half of the time it's been at the bottom of my purse so long, it's not charged. I go home charge the thing and it's full of messages. What do you know not one was life threatening. Now the kids I know, are basically using them to text/send notes. There are, of course, strict policies about no cell phones in the classroom, but there was the rule of no passing notes back in my day and if you got caught had to read it in front of the class. Depending on how desperate they are to tell so and so how "cute"/"hot" a person is, who's dating who, and the rest of school gossip they sometimes take the chance, and if caught, lose their phone and a parent has to pick it up.. or back in the day, were totaling humliated by reading aloud what you wrote:lol: The only way my kids get to have a phone is by paying for it. They buy the phone with x-mas/b-day $ and then have to earn the rest to keep it going (pay as you go). Mowing and babysitting seem to be the favorites as of now, next year de-tassling  My DH and I are already placing bets on which child will actually complete the this job.
  11. That is a really good idea because it is amazing how the 3 CRA's differ from each other.
  12. OMG!!! I would be frantic The excitement of it finally coming down and having your child back, for them not to be there.. What exactly were storm chasers going to do with something like that How would they control it? We have birds flying into engines and dropping 747's Where are they getting this helium? I know you can buy small tanks for parties. I think the box says fills 30 balloons. Is there a "helium- r- us"? Back to the important matter of where the heck is the kid?
