  5. Hello, Does anyone have any experience in going to Special Civil Part in Mercer County, NJ? I have a court date in 2 weeks, and I have read some pretty discouraging stuff on the internet that the judge I have been assigned typically sides with the Plaintiff and a credit card statement print out is enough to prove their case. Please help!
  6. Thank you all for your responses. I have a court date in 2 weeks, and haven't received much besides a printout of an electronic credit card statement for Dell Financial Services. Any advice on what to expect on my court date (Mercer county, nj) will be much appreciated.
  7. I was served with a lawsuit from a JDB in September 2011. My state's statute of limitations is 6 years. The last payment that I made on this account was 3/14/2006. My court date for a hearing is 3/28/2012. So far I have responded to all interrogatories as denied, and I have sent a discovery to the Plaintiff (Pressler and Pressler) with little response back (just a printout of a statement so far). Can I use statute of limitations for this case or not, since I was served in August, but when my court date is scheduled, I would have reached 6 years. Thanks!
  8. NJDefendant I know that it is probably silly question, but when you responded to interrogatories/admissions, did you retype all the questions and answers? And what paper did you sign with the response? I'm working on sending mine in now. My court date got moved to a month later too, I got a notice in the mail. When are you going to court? Thanks
  9. NJDefendant, I'm in the same boat as you. I have a court date fast approaching, yet don't know what will happen when I got.
  10. Hello, I have been using this forum in my response to Pressler & Pressler Here's my timeline I received a notice that I am being sued. Amount is roughly three thousand. I responded stating that I am unaware of this debt and plaintiff hasn't provided any information that confirms this debt. I received interrogatories and request for admissions. Haven't yet responded, but I still have a few weeks. I responded with discovery, stating 5 things including credit card agreement, register receipts, statements, etc. Haven't heard back yet but already got a court date in Mercer County in one mo
