I was served a summons that didnt have a court date and no file date. I answered (that I planned to challenge the charges against me) back to collections agency but did't send to courts , I read somewhere that if no date and file number you didnt have to send to court. Am I screwed. That was in late august and I have heard nothing. Not sure what to do next, I have check with the court and no record of a filing. Is it unusual for them not to file, its been a month.
