  1. LastMinute
    I am currently being sued by Midland Funding in CT. I filed an answer using the time-barred SOL based the contracts "choice of law". Which does not work in CT I found out when I went to court. The lawyer ended up asking for a 60 day continuance after I question the chain of custody and robo-signed affidavit during our hallway chit-chat. I have been looking for a lawyer ever since. If I lived in NY I would have hundreds of lawyer to choose from but it doesn't seem that any lawyers in CT are in the loop or it's harder to win these cases here. Anyway, I am running out of time and need to figure out what my next step would be. Next court date is in 2 weeks. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks
