  1. I don't know if anyone else has posted a thread about this, so I thought I'd do so. According to a March 18, 2022 article on TransUnion's Website, TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax are making changes to their medical collection debt reporting. Effective July 1, 2022, paid medical collection debt will not longer be included on consumer credit reports. Also, the time period before medical collection debt may be reported to the CRAs will increase from 6-months to one year. Lastly, beginning sometime during the first-half of 2023, medical collection debt under $500 will no longer be reported.
