Can someone please answer this question? If the proof of service documents say that I was personally served but wasn’t served at all, grounds to have a judgment vacated even though I still resided at the address? Proof that I wasn’t personally served is in the documents they filed. Forged signatures. I was sued by PRA and Asset Acceptance/Midland Funding several years ago. Hello All, Second post. First post was introductory that illustrates my background, knowledge and areas of expertise. This one specifically describes a lawsuit filed against me. Yesterday I was about to call a debt collector to offer them a more lucrative settlement than I was able to offer last time I talked to them. A little voice told me to check the courts website for the county I used to live in, low and behold they sued me, submitted proof of processing, and got a judgement against me because I never responded the the summons that I NEVER received.
