Equifax deletes all of my good, but closed accounts

I had about 15 good accounts, though closed, that weren't scheduled to come off of my report until, at the earliest, 2006. Many weren't supposed to come off until 2010.

I just checked this morning and NONE of them are on my report. Someone literally, seemingly maliciously, has deleted every one of these accounts. I had two on-time mortgages on there and two paid car loans. I know they were closed, but they had to be giving me SOME good credit history.

Is there anything I can do to get these back on?

That's absolute bullshit. Try emailing Robin at Equifax, you can reach her here robin.holland@equifax.com She'll most likely forward it to Vicki Banks or Lanette Fullwood to take care of it.

I've sent the e-mail with the details to the contact you gave me. I guess I'm a little relieved that it's been done before and it's not just me.

It just seems too sinister to imagine. I mean, these were cherry picked for deletion. There is no way a computer glitch could have deleted only my good/closed accounts. I have 7 accounts that have negatives that weren't touched.

There's no way this was a random process at all...

Thanks again, though. I feel a little better. I'll update if I get any responses back on this. I'm not holding my breath that any of this will ever get back on my report, though.

Ugggh!! That kind of occured to me last night too.

Is there any rhyme or reason as to how a split file accounts are split? I was trying to look for a pattern and I just couldn't see it.

I pull my report like every other day, so I didn't think I pulled it enough to split, but I guess anything possible with EQ.

I do agree with you Swede, just wanted to throw out the split file just incase. I know equ was messing with my reports. They deleted four really old good acocunts of mine and then started messing with my dob and my address. They would change the dob back and the next day it would be changed to the wrong one again. Here is a letter I faxed to them with the fax number. I am still waiting for them to fix it. I am send the same info out in the mail crrr this weekend. Even though I also faxed a copy of my dl and phone bill and ss card, they sent generic letter saying to send them the stuff again as my info was not the same on the report. Well duh, they keep changing it for me. If you fax, make sure you get a good clear copy of your dl and ss and a bill to fax with it.

Here is the FAX# I cant find the dumb number yet, will get back to you with that.

Kelly or Equifax Consumer Affair Department

Dear Kelly or Two Whom It May Concern,

As recommended per our conversation today, I am sending this fax in regards to accounts being deleted from my credit report. The good credit/trade lines were on my report yesterday with file number xxxxx, and they are gone today. I did not dispute these accounts, and they have not been aged past the reporting period yet. They have been removed from my report for unknown reasons. I am requesting that these positive credit/trade lines be added back to my report. I have outlined them for you here, and have marked them on a separate copy of my report as well. I have also enclosed a copy of my report from today with file number xxxxxx that shows the accounts are gone.

I am requesting that the Trade Lines listed below be added back to my credit report.

#1 Credit/Trade Line

Copy and paste all there is about this account here.

Trade line # 1 has been removed from my credit report before the expiration was up on the reporting period. This account should be added back to my report.

#2 Credit/Trade Line

Copy and paste all there is about this account here.

Trade line # 2 has been removed from my credit report before the expiration was up on the reporting period. This account should be added back to my report.

#3 Credit/Trade Line

Copy and paste all there is about this account here.

Trade line #3 has been removed from my credit report before the expiration was up on the reporting period. This account should be added back to my report.

I again request that the prematurely removed credit/trade lines be re-added to my credit report. I am working on buying a home by the end of the summer. I need my FICO score to reach 600, and I can do the loan with a co-maker. I have everything ready to go, even the co-makers. The removal of these accounts has caused a dramatic drop in my FICO score. It is unknown how these were removed since they were not disputed, and were last listed to report until at least the year 2007 and some even as long as 2009. Please take every effort to ensure that these are added back to my credit report. The sooner you can make this happen, the better. I am sure I won’t get back all of the points that I lost, the sooner these are back on my reports, the sooner the numbers will start going up again. Thank you in advance for your time and effort in handling this situation and giving it your personal attention.

Sincerely,

You said it girl. My score hovers around 540-575, with EQ, and what I have noticed, is I have 3 positives missing from EQ, and all my settled and paid charge-offs are now listed as open, and active charge-offs. Seems to me they like to keep people at a certain score, and they do whatever it takes, to keep it there. Including by not deleting a collection, when the CA keeps stating they do not respond to EQ, because they reverted the account back to the OC (Apt complex). I sent EQ a letter, asking for proof of where theyre getting thier info from, and I got 3 letters, stating that I do not need a credit repair company.........what is funny......I have a disclaimer in the letter, sstating that all info was obtained by myself, and no one else.........SOUNDS LIKE DEFUMASHUN TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). I know I should be around 620-635

Actaully I don't think its from doing so many pulls. Everything was fine with BF's eq report, we were not doing pulls with pg, have not for a while now. EXP won't give us a report and we can't get any 3n1 reports because of this. He called eq friday to get his work changed to his current place of employment. The lady was a real butt hole to him.

Well our paperwork is all at the underwritters and they are supposed to pull a new report and get back to us by Friday on the final conditions of the loan.

We checked myfico yesterday just to make sure all was okay with his report. Well, they are all gone again, and his score is back under 600. And guess what? I talked to Vicki this morning, and she said herself, they file is short, she cleared out all of the old soft inqs, and there is really no reason that this happened again. Of course she is going to send for his file and try and add the 5 accounts back on again. By the time she does this, it will be too late and we will lose our mortgage.
