credithound
I remember when I filed a bk back in June of 1997 it included Cross Country Bank. The Actual meeting of creditors was in August and the payment plan began in August of that year. Cross Country bank reported me to the CRA's in 11/97. Is this acceptable -I smell a dirty rat!In any case I eventually had my ch. 13 bk dismissed in 1998! It should not change the fact thought the reporting should have been in the filing period when my attorney formed the paperwork to contact all creditors.Wandering if I can dispute this and get deleted on a technicality. In any case this account would be removed next year. Will it hurt me because of history as well?
sisflomi
Credit, just what does your credit report show for this account? What is the open date, status date, what is the fall off date?I do know that when you file bk 13 it tolls the sol, not sure if it would make the dates different or not though. I will have to look this one up. The best advice I can offer you is to take your post over to the bk section and put your question out to LadynRed. She knows a lot about bk laws.
