I know that I can also include in my credit report a letter of explaination.......will that possibly help? Thanks in advance
sisflomi
It will show both of the bks, for ten years each. There are ways to try and dispute them off of your report down the road. You could prob get the first one off pretty soon. Its called a statement that you put on your reports. It won't help in most cases, as most creditors don't really look at that part of your reports. The only thing that will help you back out of this is going to be time, and re-building your credit. Go look under the sticky called Credit Repair 101 and start there. Its under the credit repair link. I would not recommend trying to rebuild right now, maybe a few months after your second bk. You really need to make sure that you are ready to take on credit again before you do. You don't want to end up in the same boat for a third time. I know I am on my second chance too, and won't ever let myself get in this boat again. Good Luck to you.
