swferguson
Filed Chapt7 BK in 97, filed Chapt 13 BK in 2000. Most of my negative tradelines are listed under the chapt7 BK. They are showing up as Bankruptcy/Charge-off, etc. Is there any way to get a bankruptcy removed?

fixmycredit
swfurguson. You need to dispute the items included in the bankruptcyfirst; otherwise they might get suspicious. try 3-4 at a time.
crofttk
Well, apparently, that's a double edged sword. Swede said in the linked post that by successfully disputing the PR first, they may just kinda scratch their heads and delete the IIB TLs because they have no PR listed.I've a suspicion this is more likely to work better on TU than the others. We know how lazy they are.
