k3ith
I disputed a old phone bill on 7-16-03 transunion sends me a letter saying the dispute is frivolous and they will no reinvestigate the item. The reason i say they didn't even try and verify the dispute is that they sent me their letter which was postmarked on 7-21-03 . They listed the phone number of the creditor and I tried to call it and and all I get is a message saying I dialed the number wrong or some crap. They didn't have time to send a letter to the creditor and then send me a letter postmarked 5 days later. I tried calling the number from my house , work and a friends house. The number doesn't work for me. What do you think I should do? Thankyou
kb9tbq
The CRAs are not about keeping up on phone numbers which can change so often, but the address should work to write a letter to the creditor. You may call the CRA directly to see if they have an up to date phone number.
