Getting a Mortgage

I have an odd question. DH and I would like to buy a house but DH is a full-time graduate student and is only working part-time. My odd question is this: When we go to get pre-qualified, does his financial aid money count towards our monthly income? (It makes a difference of about 750 bucks a month.)

Ok, I just checked and instead of what I thought the answer would be NO! it is as follows:

If he gets it year around, ie not 9 months per year, but all 12 calender months (that is the way it was told to me) AND

If there is a paper "award" saying that it is going to continue for 3 years, then you can count it.

Hope that helps. Thanks for the question, because I learned something now.
