Here in Illinois - It was my understanding that Master Trust collections was behind the reporting on this company.

But I guess, there may be a few out there then,

They did go out of business, but not before selling their accounts for collection from various companies then,

A few like Master Trust, are actually responsible for the OC tradeline continuing to report.

I'm in Illinois also, the Heilig Meyers here closed down, bankrupt. I don't know who bought them or what not.

I did have Heilig Meyers as an OC listed on my EQ report and their CA that purchased the debt, it started as OSI, then went to ASTA Funding and then to Palisades. Asta and palisades are the same company.

I disputed HM on my EQ report, fell right off. I disputed OSI on my report, came back "supressed pending credit grantors update" it fell off after my next dispute. Then they must have transferred it to Asta, who sent me a letter. I demanded proof within 30 days, never got anything back. Thought I was good and clear, but no. It showed up on all 3 of my reports. Only 2 listed as "in dispute" TU and EQ. EX never reported it as disputed. So I'm ITS Asta/Palisades now. waitinig for their response.

Does the HM still exist where you purchased the bed? I say dispute the HM as not yours through the CRA and demand validation from OSI on the other two. HM should drop off.

Did you purchase 1 bed and it is listed 3 times on your report. Once as HM and 2 times as OSI? Are both OSI accounts exactly the same? Could be a duplicate entry. I had a OC listed as charged off bad debt, and somehow it shows up also as paid charged off. Disputed it as duplicate entry, and one of them fell off.

Give us a little more info on these tradelines.

OSI

ASTA Funding

Palisades

All 3 of these are the same company!

They are messing with you, so if you DV one, the just switch which one is doing the reporting! They are just going to continue this as you dispute - read up in the collection section; especially on the old board! I don't know much more for going head to head with this company, best of wishes in your fight!

Helig Meyers went bankrupt here as well. I only made one purchase from them and I was making payments on it, fell behind, they went bankrupt and I have never heard from them again. It shows up on my credit report as OSI x 2 and Helig Meyers Master Trust. They all show the exact same thing.
