lizandjerry
Hi everyone. I haven't posted in a week or so because I took everyones advice and decided to read through all the old messages in the forum. I learned a lot, but I still have one question.Lets say that you dispute an item as "never late" on your CR and the CRA removes the listing all together because they were not able to get any response from the OC. Say the OC never received (or chose to ignore) the request of the CRA and therefore never responds. Ok, so the CRA totally removes the listing from your CR. What happens to your CR when you continue to pay the OC every month?I know that the OC will continue to report activity to the CRA each month. Basically, what I'm wondering is if the account it totally removed, and the OC continues to report "late" or "current" on your report, then will your CR only show the dates after the removal. Say the CRA's removed an OC in October. I pay my next bill and the OC reports "current" on my CR, will my credit report only show the dates from November on? I know I didnt word the question properly and therefore it may be impossible to answer, but hopefully someone can respond. I know what I'm trying to ask, but I'm not sure how I can word it so that it makes sense.

Since you went through all the trouble to read the old board, I guess you deserve some kind of an answer.Kb could give you a better answer, but I have seen this question asked before. If the OC doesn't respond, then you should be able to call them and mention that you report is NOT being reported to the CRA'S. They might relist all the neg lates as before. The problem might arise if the account has been closed. They may not have the records so the account may stay off your report. And if they have incorrect information and you can't prove otherwise you might be stuck with that info. That's is just my opinion to the best of my knowledge... it's probobly close,But, I would ask KB, she could give you an exact(or as close to exact as you can get in the CREDIT REPAIR WORLD, since so many people are ignorant about FDCPA, FCRA) answer.
