sunshine Posted June 18, 2003 Report Share Posted June 18, 2003 I received a letter today from Experian letting me know that they are working on my disputes I recently sent them..when I looked at my Credit Report through EX I also notice that my Mortgage Payment of 10 years has dissappeared? Now this is one of the Accounts I was disputing to remove the late payments? Will that show up again after this dispute is over? Or should I call and inquire about this? kb9tbq Posted June 18, 2003 Report Share Posted June 18, 2003 Did you dispute the lates on the mortgage with the CRAs?I am afraid if so it is gone; that the mortgage company failed to respond to the verification. You will need to back track your steps and contact the mortgage company to have added back on.Then send a good will letter directly to the mortgage company asking them if they would be nice to removed the lates listed on the credit report.*** If you notice an increase in your score after the 30 days, would definitely leave it off, but most likely these things help the score more than they hurt the score.
