What type of employment verification does the chevron rebuilder card ask for?

Reason is I don't work right now but my husband owns a business that he could easily say i work for.

Also can you get an authorized user with the rebuilder card?

Thanks everyone ;)

I just got approved and I didn't get asked any questions regarding employment. It was easy. I just don't know what the program entails. I haven't recieved my package yet. Any ideas???

My husband was recently approved for the rebuilder program. I don't know if they actually called his place of employment or not but they asked him a couple of questions about his employment. I think that they were kind of double checking the info that he actually submitted on his applications. They also wanted to know who they would speak with at his place of employment. He gave them the names of the 2 individuals that can answer employment verification and the chevron person replied by saying "yes, that is correct". He wasn't sure what she meant by that but thought that maybe they did actually call to verify and spoke with one of the individuals that he named.

Hope this helps.

</blockquote>If you are not approved for a "regular" Chevron card, they may offer you the rebuilder program. DH applied and was offered the rebuilder. He got some info in the mail and had to call an 800 number for info on the rebuilder. The woman asked him a few questions and then stated that he would receive info in the mail. He needed to sign the letter and return it with the $30 annual fee. Once they receive the letter & fee back, it will take a couple of weeks to get the card. They state that after ontime payments (some says 6 months & some say 12) they will offer to convert it to a regular card. The annual fee for the rebuilder card ranges from $30-$50 depending on your credit. His EQ fico at the time was around 599 and he had quite a few negatives and a couple of judgements. We don't have any Chevron stations here but needed to start building credit other than visa/mc so we decided to go this route, besides, we can use it when we travel.

Hope this helps.
