I am now only showing one on my Experian report, it is clean no lates or anything for the last 12 years, I disputed it on the other two, because they were showing a late (30) and then they deleted the entire thing, should I call them and have them put it back on and then send a goodwill letter if it still shows a late pay?

If you are doing it for a/another RE purchase, the broke will get a 3 in 1 that makes an entry look like is across all reports.

If your doing it just for score, I would write EQ and TU and ask that the account be replaced minus the lates. Tell them you were disputing the LATES, not the entire account; therefore only the lates should have been removed.

I wouldn't call the mort folks and ask that it be reinserted, only if your score will jump drastically by adding the item back in.

The CRAs don't have the capability to re add deleted tradelines; only the creditor can re add.

How about this; send the good will letter first to see if the creditor will consider removing lates; that way if they refuse then np since the trades are missing. If they agree; then the next step is to get them to re-add the tradelines.

He said the tradelines have already been removed. And I would still contact the CRA's to have it re-entered. They are doing this too much..removing entired lines vs what we disputed. They need to know each and everytime they do it..even if its filing a complaint with the FTC.

So what, you might be waisting your waisting your time, but someone is reading the letter.

Yeah I just had that happen. TU removed 3 accounts that I disputed *never paid late*

I never asked for complete deletion, although 2 of them had ALOT of lates so I dont mind that much.

Yea - this extra step may be worth it down the line if you want to prove neglagence on the CRAs part (or at least the Creditors part). Always recommend dealing with the FTC on filing complaints.

Just that we cross a thin line on pushing for this and that - I have trouble being blind sided from my direction of seeing things. Sorry Kimber
