Anonymous Posted April 24, 2003 Report Posted April 24, 2003 I have an account on Equifax that shows as "Settlement Accepted on this Account. Paid Acct/Zero Bal." It shows in the negative items though. The deal was I pay them & they don't report as negative. Last activity is 11/96 which is incorrect, actual date is 6/97. Any suggestions on how to get this removed?
utman17 Posted April 24, 2003 Report Posted April 24, 2003 should have gotten it in writing before you settled, and if it is showing 11-97 it will come off this year 11-03
