red
I posted this at the end of another thread but I don’t think anybody will see it there; please be kind if that’s not the case! Yesterday I bought one of those three-in-one reports DIRECTLY from Experian’s website. I bought the online version and simply printed it out. Today, with a head full of knowledge from THIS board, I learned that I really need three reports SEPARATELY. Grrr, but okay. So I just paid $10 for a single (online) report from Experian and IT DOESN'T HAVE ANY LAST ACTIVITY DATES EITHER!!! Grr! Grrrrrrrrr! It looks EXACTLY THE SAME as the tri-report, except of course that the other two CBs are not on this report. Now I'm looking at a sample report from Transunion and there's no LAST ACTIVITY DATE here either... the only dates are DATE OPENED and DATE REPORTED. I am totally perplexed! Will somebody please look at their Experian and Transunion reports and tell me where the LAST ACTIVITY DATE appears? Cause it sure as heck isn't on either of these. Are the online and hardcopy versions of these reports DIFFERENT?
techgoddess
TU doesn't have the last activity date on it but you can call them and ask. I got my experian report in the mail so it might be different from yours but the last activity date is in the third collumn (it goes credit item, Date Opened/Reported Since, Date of status/Last Reported.) The Date of Status is the last activity date.
red
Yep. Then the online version is, indeed, different from the one that is mailed. In the immortal words of Peter Boyle, holy crap! How do they get away with such things?!? What the heck should I do?The first stupid little baby step in what looks like it will be a long, long journey, and I'm already encountering smoke and shadows. Arrrrghhh!
