PFB is a tool to communicate between companies and consumers whether it's complaints or compliments. You need to either dispute inquiries w. the CRA listing it or the person that placed it there.

kb9tbq Posted May 2, 2003 Report Posted May 2, 2003 What I would suggest is one of two things. Call to find out a contact name from the company regarding their credit reporting department; address letter specifically to this person. If you can't get a contact person; then leave the social security number out in the first letter. They may follow up with a letter later asking you to forward additional information to confirm your idenity - then you would reply directly to this person who sent you letter asking for the additional information. Just be sure to put their name on the outside of the envelope. This way less people will be viewing your personal information.
