BrassFan
A couple of questions from a newbie just starting out...When a CRA verifies information on a debt, do they use the address they have in the report? I sent a goodwill letter a few weeks ago to one of my OCs regarding a chargedoff account, and the letter was returned due to an invalid P.O. Box.If the CRA sent a letter to that same PO Box, and it was returned, that would get the item de-listed, correct? Also, if I dispute a chargeoff account as paid in full, not charged off..and the CRA gets no response: Would the item be deleted, or would it be changed to Paid As Agreed? Thanks. There may be different established contacts with them. They may not even mail, they may just call also. But you are on the right track. It may be true for some CRA/CA/OC relationships but we have never seen any kind of consistency out of the employees of the 3 CRA's.Good Luck [Edit by timbercreektech on Thursday, May 1, 2003 @ 11:11 AM]
