headache
If you could see me know, dancing and singing "another one bites the dust"The last collection agency came off of Equifaf today. I have had so much luck with them this month. They are taking off stuff that the other 2 are verifing. You got to wonder how one doesn't verify and the other ones do. Here's a run down of my EQ report2/14 10 negs score 5763/15 8 negs score 5733/30 6 negs score 5404/30 3 negs score 5435/02 2 negs score 580 :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy:
kb9tbq
That is great; now just keep an eye open the next month to make sure the creditors don't try to re-add the data. Then you should be home free. Also will depend on the type of derogs which you had; if they are outstanding collections; where the account might be restablished with new companies that start reporting again on the debt. So just keep an eye on it from here.Congrats; & best of luck in your rebuilding stage.

kb9tbq
There are a few different ways; most common is if the creditor the tradeline gets automatically added the following month due to tapes sent in from the CRA. But like swede said - technically the CRA must notify you within 5 business days. * If you find the item added back (but had not be notified) then you just write back to them point in out that they failed to notify you of the reinsertion and that you want this removed from your credit report. They will do this with no problem; have done this myself. The other way you would see an account readded; would be if a new collection agency took over collection of the account. Then they have the right to report their information; and you would be back at the start with them. Now remember that once the OC has expired off of the credit report; all collection agencies must expire also. The problem comes into play proving re-aging on collection accounts where the OC was not showing to begin with (like medical accounts). This is real important that you keep all documents to help resolve matters like this later on.But as things go; usually this is not the case. So then it is down to disputing with the CRA - until you get removal.
chingasaholo
they can re-add, but as swede says......within 5 days. They did this with an experian collection I had from 1999, just recently showed up and tarnished my lovely score. But......sent them a nasty letter and now it's gone, took less than 5 days. You gotta keep on top of this credit thing, if you really want to do it right you have to spend some time learning the ropes.ching
