ADSOFT 48
Hey, I'm kind of new, just completed disputes, in the validation stage of the game: I got 9 of 11 removed.... But, I think SWEDE has, honored us with her KNOWLEDGE and exposed a technicality in the validation process that seems to make it extremly difficult for a CRA, to validate disputes?... I think we should coin a phrase for this process.

This isn't the responsibility of the CRA but the furnisher that has placed the account on your report.
Originally posted by ADSOFTduh, what is the average time to wait on after sending out the CMRR.
Wait to do what? See if they have gotten it? You can track your letter on www.usps.gov if you don't want to wait for the green card to come back.
ADSOFT 48
TO SWEDE, If they respond without the "notice of my dispute" I have them on the techicality(?) then what?
Swede 15
Originally posted by ADSOFTIf they respond without the "notice of my dispute" I have them on the techicality(?) then what?
Well, you can send letters, file complaints with the BBB/FTC/AG/PFB, you can send an ITS and you can sue them. Most of the time, they'll fold before court but I would urge you to build a case against them if you are indeed going to court. Small claims is populated with "judges" that aren't well versed in consumer law, or any law for that matter, and it's your job to convince him/her and only having one violation of them not marking the account as "in dispute" is not a very strong case.
