TU sent me "third party" letter..to slow time?

i am currently disputing dh's reports w the CRA's..there 30 days is up today...anyhow, i just started my disputes and TU received theres on 5-14..well wouldnt u know it today i get a letter from them w a copy of my letter and license, w a letter from them saying that it appears to be from a 3rd paty and to be sure it is from me to send my signature and specific account information disputes in order to proceed this request......ok i did ALL THIS!! iknow i have seen this posted before but cant find it...so what do i do....is it now delaYED..do i have to do what they say??? is this just a tactic to slow things down for them...any help would be greatly appreciated!!! thanks everyone!!!

Ive seen a post about this before (bullshit letter from the CRA stating its from a 3rd party credit repair agency). If i recollect correctly, another person did not resond and sent them the 30 days up/remove now letter at the 30 day mark and got the TLs deleted. I think by responding, you give them grounds to start the clock again.

Do not send them an ITS letter, TU has a policy of placing you in the "special handling" department if you do this. That means you can't just call anyone up, you need to call a certain number and deal with one specific person who will return your call at their convenience.

Try calling up, ask for a supervisor and demand that she starts the dispute process. Fax over your proof of the items disputed and your green card.
