I have several CA from utility companies which seem to be recent posts to all three bureaus with dates like 1/2002 - when I actually know the utility companies were not paid like back in 1999 and 1998...how do i enforce DOLA on the CRA and the CA,,can I enforce this,,,???? very confused....just extends 7 year life span of debt and SOL for the debts if CA are reporting later DOLA than the original debt with utility company.HELP!!! lisak72 Posted May 25, 2003 Report Share Posted May 25, 2003 Do debt validation with the CA if you are not having luck with your disputes to the CRA. Go through the "not mine", wrong dates, etc as many as you want first. I would try at least on dispute with CRA before doing DV. If you get to DV, make sure that you outline specifically what information you are needing on these. If they cannot validate this information with you...they have to remove.
