Saptrus
Has anyone else found gross inaccuracies in the so-called "3-in-1" reports? (or any other reports not directly supplied buy the CRAs).I ordered one from Intersections some time back and it was riddled with out-of-date info and glitches. Today I signed up with TrueCredit to get my TransUnion report online and that seems outdated, too. It's like it's giving me a report from a month ago. Swede
3-in-1's are worthless, don't waste more money on it.
tarheel99
Would you include PrivacyGuard among those that are worthless?I noticed inaccuracies (employer, previous address, etc) in my PG report, but I just assumed that the 3 CRAs were providing bad info on me and I mailed dispute letters to the CRAs accordingly. However, when I received my actual report directly from TU, I did notice that some info was different than listed on the PG report.Do you recommend that we not use PG report info when disputing items? When he saw my 3-in-1 report he tossed it into the paper shredder.
Swede
Originally posted by tarheel99Would you include PrivacyGuard among those that are worthless?
Yep-it's good for bumpage but that's about it, oh and the $1 for 3 months is good. I prefer to get my information directly from the horse's mouth and not a third party, and yes, I too find inaccuracies on PG.I don't dispute on PG, I dispute with the big three's, those are my concern. If I apply for a credit card with Chase, they're not going to check my 3-in-1 at PG, that's why I'm concerned with accuracy in those three.
